The Tall People Wedding. Thats how we referred to Mark and Heather’s wedding. Tall they are, but you’d be hard pressed to meet a nicer couple. People like them make Sarah and I look good. They have a wonderful energy and are a pleasure to photograph. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Little River Golf Resort in Carthage, NC. There was the threat of rain all day, but it held out to make for a beautiful ceremony with close family and friends. We got into our usual pictures after the ceremony and ended up in a pair of golf carts which lead us to the location of the first picture below. We even gave Heather our camera, who got an action shot of us. Speaking of action, the reception was a blast. Ben Suggs of Southern Entertainment provided the “Jersey fist pumping beats” that kept everyone dancing as long as possible. Amongst all of the dancing came an employee of the Little River Golf Resort who others were referring to as “The Jumper.” It was noted that he could jump over objects as high as 7’1”, and as luck would have it, we had a perfect test subject for his jumping abilities. Mark is 6’8”. The groomsmen so eagerly convinced “The Jumper” to jump over Mark and I have to say, thats a first for Sarah and I. After all of the excitement we decided to take a shot of everyone left at the reception before we sent Mark and Heather off in the Bentley.

It was an honor for Sarah and I to have been Mark and Heather’s wedding photographers! They’re an awesome couple!

Pat and Emalee had an amazing spring wedding, which was the day before Easter. These two have A LOT of people who care about them and boy do they know how to have a good time! The ceremony was held at First Presbyterian in Sanford, NC and as you can see from the pictures, the church was packed.  They decorated with a variety of colorful flowers giving everything a vibrant feeling of Spring and complementing Pat and Emalee’s demeanor. Emalee had the coooolest shoes we’ve seen in quite some time!

The reception was held at Cafe 121 in Sanford, NC where the extraordinary Chef Gregg Hamm and his crew prepared a variety of delicious food. I have to say, Sarah and I were partial to the absolutely amazing chocolate cupcakes! Once the guest got warmed up, the dancing began with music provided by the awe-inspiring Ben Suggs of Southern Entertainment. They did everything from the Polka to the Cupid Shuffle. It was quite the celebration!

Congrats Pat and Emalee! You two are amazing!
