We were so excited to be asked by Chelsea and Kevin to take portraits of Ava again. We took the first portraits to celebrate her turning one, now we take them to celebrate her turning 2 years old. Ava is as cute as ever, and loved posing for us as she slid down the slides or kicked the soccer ball! With her five second attention span, we bounced around the Bethesda Baptist Church’s playground for nearly an hour before she settled on the swings for a good 15 minutes. Hook | Durham, NC Family Portraits
Last fall we had the pleasure of photographing the Hook family. These guys were super easy to work with and was most certainly because Christa is a photographer herself. Much like it is for us, they are very used to being in front of the camera so everyone is able to be themselves and have fun. We had a great time goofing off as we roamed around the Tobacco District in Downtown Durham.
Ethan’s 1st Birthday Party!
Ethan is 1 year old today! It has been an absolutely amazing experience watching him grow and learn with no end in sight! We were so happy to have such a great set of family and friends that came to celebrate with Ethan. We are a blessed family and can only hope to pay it forward. Thanks to everyone who came out!
Ethan wasn’t sure of his birthday cake and refused to eat any of it. Good thing his birthday buddy, Gavin, was there to make good use of the birthday cake Sarah made. As you can see he enjoyed the cake to the fullest while Ethan ate fruit. I guess we can’t complain too much!
