Lauren and Luke’s wedding day was amazing. They have such a loving set of family and friends that were a pleasure to work for and share time with. Some of the first group pictures we took were in downtown Mooresville with the groomsmen, where we rushed before the rain hit. Once it hit, they were trapped downtown while it poured. Luke’s many brothers kept things interesting virtually the entire time, you never knew what was going to happen or what you would see. The ceremony was held at Williamson’s Chapel in Mooresville, North Carolina. The church was absolutely stunning with wonderful stained glass windows and high ceilings. Once the ceremony and pictures concluded, we headed over to the Charles Mack Citizen Center where the talented Ben Suggs of Southern Entertainment kept the party going with his silky smooth beats. As you can see from the dance pictures, they were a fun crowd to photograph and celebrate with.
Congrats Lauren and Luke! It was an honor for us to photograph your wedding day!

Sarah and I were in awe of Emily and Jason’s wedding day. The location for the ceremony ad reception were absolutely stunning. Their Ceremony was held at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, North Carolina. It has a wonderful rustic and down to earth feel and made for a very photographic location. We couldn’t have asked for better lighting inside a small church. The reception was held at the North Carolina Museum of History where the talented folks of Sounds Good Entertainment kept everyone moving to the music. The museum was open and airy making for a fun and lively evening where it was easy to get people to visit the Photo Booth. As usual Sarah had a blast with the guests!
Congrats Emily and Jason! It was an honor for Sarah and I to be a part of your beautiful day!

Lauren and Brad are such a fun couple. They have a great energy and are awesome in front of the camera. We had the honor of photographing their beautiful wedding at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Lauren’s morning started out at Astra Studio where the talented Stacie Snipes took care of the Bride and Bridesmaid’s hair for the day. Her flowers were done by A Ming Rose Florist in Raleigh, NC. Everything was well thought out and planned. We had more time than usual for group pictures, which was nice for a change. We finished up well in advance and didn’t have to rush for the start of the ceremony. The ceremony was full of their family and friends who also filled the reception, held at Sisters’ Garden and Catering in Raleigh, NC. The North Tower Band kept everyone celebrating all night with their high energy performances and Sarah kept guests coming through the Photo Booth for a little fun.
We were proud to have had the opportunity to document their wedding day. Congrats Lauren & Brad!

We took Emily’s bridal portraits at the JC Raulston Arboretum on NCSU campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. Emily is very down to earth and the gardens made for the perfect setting. She looked beautiful in her flowy dress which made for some great spinning shots. We got really luck when the wind blew, blowing the flowers from the crape myrtle trees where we were standing. It was quite a fun photo shoot.
The last of the shots is the one she used as her bridal portrait.

Ricky & Meredith… what can we say about these two? First off, they are awesome to work with. As photography lovers, they had a good idea of what they wanted and were great models for the camera. We even gave them our cameras and let them take pictures of each other. Sarah and I had a long double wedding weekend and topped it of with their engagement session which turned out to be a beautiful day with a great couple, even if we did break a sweat in the summer sun.
We started out at Yates Mill County Park and ended up at NCSU campus in Raleigh, NC.
Don’t they look amazing together!?! We can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

Kshitij and Caroline had a stunning wedding at the Carolina Theater in Greensboro, NC. Awhile back, they invited Sarah and I to check out the location and ever since we’ve been excited to shoot there with Kshitij and Caroline.
This was definitely a night to remember. Not only was the location amazing, but Kshitij and Caroline, their family, and their friends were a blast to work with. With all the weddings we’ve seen, we’ve never seen a reception so packed with dancing and celebration as this one. Ben Suggs of Southern Entertainment kept the beats going for all to party to, which helped Kshitij and Caroline get their money’s worth out of Sarah and I. We photographed the dance floor like never before! They were an amazing group to celebrate with and it was truly a beautiful evening.

The Foxmann family graciously allowed us photograph them and their newest addition, Redding! Redding was fascinated by our camera which made it super easy to catch him looking at us. He is a cute little fella with a fun spirit and loving family. Michael Foxmann was actually one of Sarah’s high school teachers and I was lucky enough to work with Michael at Hillside. We are grateful for the opportunity to capture a part of Redding’s life! Thanks guys!

Mark and Kelly gave Sarah and I the opportunity to photograph their beautiful wedding reception at Kelly’s parent’s house located at the Colonial Country Club. Like Sarah and I, Mark and Kelly are avid photography lovers and know how to work the camera. They were super easy to work with and a lot of fun, even in the North Carolina summer heat and humidity. The evening was kept simple with close family and friends which made for a very relaxed and fun evening. We were glad to have had the opportunity to photograph their reception. It was a wonderful event with lots of love and admiration towards a beautiful and exciting new married couple! Congrats Mark and Kelly!

We first met Tim & Stephanie while we were attending Wingate University. They graciously hired us to photograph their on-the-beach ceremony at Surfside Beach, South Carolina and then the reception at The Holiday Inn – Oceanfront. It was a beautifully intimate ceremony with select friends and family on a gorgeous sunny day. There’s something about a groom in flip-flops and a barefoot bride… they just seem more relaxed. Although, Tim had good reason to be relaxed. Stephanie looked amazing and couldn’t have been happier marrying the man she loves. They make a beautiful couple!
Sarah and I had a great time, even through the heat and sand! Thanks again Tim and Stephanie!

Jake makes us look good! He is such a happy little soul, a blast to photograph and took a liking to Sarah after spitting up on her first. We were in awe of his beautiful blue eyes and his insane tree climbing skills.
A big thanks to Cole and Candice for letting us photograph their newest family addition. Later this year there could be another series of baby portraits for these guys… keep an eye out!
