We are yet again blessed to help welcome another beautiful little girl into the world. Carter Lynn Blackmon was born yesterday. She is as cute as they come and hardly made a peep while we were there. David and Jessica are two beaming parents who are more than ready for this little girl to be a part of their lives. We are so happy for them and hope to document more of little Carter’s life as she grows!

More of Us…
So many things change once you have a child. And nearly all for the better.
One of the things we didn’t account for was, when you have a baby, everyone approaches you with a smile. Everyone is happy for that moment when you first see them, no matter how they may feel. Its a wonderful thing! People in public smile as they pass by you when they would have otherwise not even have noticed you. Life just seems sweeter when you are with your child.
Ethan is really starting to get vocal about nearly everything. He has things he absolutely love and hates.
Loves:
- Mom and Dad
- The Outdoors
- Going for walks
- iTunes visualizer
- The vacuum (it calms him)
- Changing outfits and/or diapers
- Being on his feet
- His hands and fingers
- Sitting
- His reflux issues
- The car seat
- Dad blowing his nose
- Water; or more specifically, a bath
- Falling asleep
We still can decide who he looks like more. I don’t see either of us in him and think he has his own look. Maybe this will change as he starts to grow. People who meet him give us a wide array of opinions about who they think he looks like. A lot of the time they mention someone else in the family.
All I know, is he is so freakin’ cute.
He comes with us to all of our weddings and photo shoots and definitely loves the attention from all of the different people. But as we all know, it’s an exhausting job!
This was his first time out in the snow. He didn’t seem to mind it much, he just loves being outside.
Tiffany + Dexter | Raleigh, NC Wedding
We first met Tiff and Dex nearly a year and a half ago. From the first meeting, Sarah and I knew these two were going to be awesome clients. We’ve work with them on pictures, albums, invites, and favors. A lot of weddings get stressful, but Tiff and Dex are a very easy going couple which makes them wonderful to work for.
Their wedding day was held at Jones Chapel in Raleigh, NC and was one we’ll never forget. Wedding ceremonies are usually not as humorous as theirs was and it was easy to see how well these two are made for each other. They make everything they do feel great. Their reception was held at the Embassy Suites in Raleigh where Esco and DJ N.O.X. of The Professional DJs kept everybody on the dance floor. Tiff and Dex definitely have a fun group of family and friends. They were so much fun to photograph! Their gorgeous flowers and cake were done by Fallon’s Flowers of Raleigh and Mone Kinard, respectively.
Congrats Tiff and Dex! You guys ROCK!
Kara + Stephen | Durham, NC Engagement
Kara and Stephen are such a cool couple. We had an awesome time on BOTH of their engagement shoots. Stephen and Kara met while attending NCCU and Stephen played on the football team. We weren’t able to get pictures on the football field the first day we went out, so we scheduled another time when the field was open. These two are so easy to work with and even their awesome dog Max got in on the photography. We can’t wait till August of next year when we get to be their wedding photographers!
