Stacie and Brian are an absolutely amazing couple to photograph. When they are together their passion for each other becomes crystal clear. Even for the short time we have known them, we’ve always felt comfortable with them. They are a very relaxed and fun going couple and are definitely made for each other!
Their wedding day was beautiful! The ceremony took place in one of the largest sanctuaries we’ve shot in, making good use of our telephoto lenses. Candles lit every pew down the isle.
Their reception was held at 1705 Prime in Raleigh, NC. 1705 is an amazing reception location with an equally amazing staff. The DJ for the night was Mel Manning of Manning2Manning DJ & Photography, who did an outstanding job. The reception was quite the celebration. The bouquet toss was one of the most brutal we’ve ever seen. The girls quite literally attacked the bouquet and by the end of it, the only thing left was the stems. And as usual the guests had a blast with the Photobooth.
We were honored to have been Stacie and Brian’s wedding photographers! You guys are AMAZING!
What can we say… these two are a blast! When the weather decided to present us with stormy weather, we decided to make the best of it and Janene & Tremaine were all for it. We had a great evening with a little rain at the beginning, but it held off and gave us some pretty awesome clouds to work with. This is the first shoot we’ve had inside the Tobacco District in downtown Durham, and I have to say, its a great place for them. A great venue with an even greater couple make for easy picture taking! Janene and Tremaine know how to work the camera when they’re together!
Sarah and I are excited for their wedding this September and are grateful to have such amazing clients! Thanks guys!
Stacie’s family has a long line of beautiful traditional bridal portraits. We were honored with the opportunity to help continue the tradition. When she came over for her photo shoot, she brought a very small bouquet. Sarah has two bouquets made from fake flowers on standby for brides who don’t have one. We used one of ours, which had white flowers, and mixed them in with hers to make a full bouquet. I photoshopped the white, fake flowers, red to match the real red roses.
This is the NX Level Entertainment Troupe based here in Durham, NC. They are a very talented and versatile group of student performers led by Rasheed Johnson. Shooting this group was a nice change for Sarah and I. We often photograph large groups of people with wedding and event photography, but never one quite like this. They have a lot of character and most of them know how to work the camera.
They needed some fresh photography for their website and publications… so they contacted 2and3.
We ended up shooting into the night with one of the hardest shoots we’ve done. Once the sun set, I could barely see the subjects through the lens of the camera accept for the momentary bursts of light from the strobes. In the end we got it done with nearly 650 images including head-shots of each of the models. Here is a small sampling of their photo shoot…
