Kerianne & Jacob are high school sweethearts who are getting married later this year. Duke Garden’s served as a backdrop for their engagement session where we spent a couple of hours roaming around getting to know each other. We are so excited to work with these two! They are a blast to be around and we just know their wedding day will be spectacular!
We spent the evening with Charlotte and Tony roaming around UNC Chapel Hill Campus and The American Tobacco District in Durham. They are an easy going couple who are just as easy to photograph. After working with them, it is easy to see how great they are together. We are super excited for their wedding this December and can’t wait to see what we can create together!
Rebecca and Blair couldn’t have had a better wedding day. It seemed like everything came together perfectly to make one beautiful experience. Although, we have to say that this was the first time we’ve seen someone in the wedding party actually pass out. It was definitely a shocker! Nonetheless, it was a pleasure to see these two get married with such an adoring gathering of family and friends. They were an absolute blast to be with and even put up with my crazy ideas for pictures. It was an absolute pleasure and honor to have been a part of their wedding day!
We took a much needed vacation to Atlanta, Georgia for a week with Sarah’s family. It was nice getting away from our daily routine and giving Ethan a chance to experience a new place. We spent the week visiting the many attractions within central Georgia starting at the Georgia Aquarium, which is the most spectacular aquarium we have ever experienced. I think we enjoyed it as much if not more than Ethan. After the Aquarium, we went next door where the World of Coca Cola is located. Ethan absolutely loved the giant Polar Bear but was scared of the robotic bottling machines.
We also visited Amicalola Falls on what we believed would be a beautiful sunny day, until the moment we started hiking to the falls when the bottom dropped out and hailed harder than we’ve ever seen. We were stuck for a good 45 minutes in a complete downpour that seemed to come out of nowhere. Eventually when the rain and hail subsided we made it to the falls where we goofed off taking pictures. Over the next few days we visited Six Flags Over Georgia, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Atlanta Zoo, and Stone Mountain. It turned out to be the perfect vacation thanks to our very supportive family! Although, next time we will plan to go when schools aren’t on spring break!
